Plane: Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport (LCJ). You can take Bus 65A from the airport until Waltera-Janke - Wyszyńskiego stop, then switch to tram 12 until Narutowicza - Matejki (kampus UŁ) stop.
Otherwise you can fly to Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) or Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI) and take a train to Łódź Fabryczna Station.
Train or bus: Long-distance trains and buses stop at Łódź Fabryczna Station, from where you can take a tram 12 or 18 until Narutowicza - Matejki (kampus UŁ) stop.
You can use apps Jakdojade or mobileMPK to check public transport routes and schedule.
Accommodation: the Training and Conference Center of the University of Lodz offers accommodation facilities (https://www.csk.uni.lodz.pl/centrum-szkoleniowo-konferencyjne-kopcinskiego), located within walking distance of the first-day venue (the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection). Car: Take DW713 and DK48 to Spała (60 km from Łódź city).
Train: You can take a train from Łódź Fabryczna station to the town of Tomaszów Mazowiecki. From there you can take a taxi / Uber / Bolt to Spała (9 km). Direct train from Łódź to Spała runs only on weekends.

Accommodation: the Field Station of the University of Lodz offers the 1- to 4-person rooms (with bathroom) at reasonable prices (https://www.biol.uni.lodz.pl/spala), but the number of rooms is limited. Please contact the organizer, dr hab. Małgorzata Ruszkiewicz-Michalska (malgorzata.ruszkiewicz@biol.uni.lodz.pl) to ask for the rooms availability and booking.
