The American Falls Family Bird Festival provides participants a wonderful opportunity to view a wide variety of birds normally seen in South Eastern Idaho. Guided excursions are scheduled for the AF Fish Hatchery Audubon Trail and the American Falls Marina Trail. Our area of Idaho is a great place for bird watching. This family activity was planned to maximize viewing of our wintering birds, as well as the birds of Idaho's spring migration. Young birders must be accompanied by their parents, of course.

Our mission is to support adults and children through birding and introduce them to their local birding hot spots. We hope that connecting them to a rewarding hobby will provide an opportunity for kids to have fun, build confidence, and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors.
