Welcome to the 8th annual American Falls Family Bird Festival!

This festival is ideal for those interested in bird watching, but who not sure where to begin, or for more experienced birders looking for a few tips. Topics include basic bird identification, favorite field guides, how to choose your optics, and where and when to find birds.
The entire festival is an activity designed as a treat for families. Zero cost and maximum fun! Our local guide will share their expertise with children of all ages.
There will be many tips, including local gardening experts who will describe practices for creating bird friendly landscapes and gardens. This presentation will be very informative for those wishing to cultivate a bird and butterfly friendly yard.
Bring your friends and family for a fun day of learning about birds in our great community. This is a field trip that has been designed by volunteers to be fun for the whole family.
