Welcome to Neko Browser! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Neko Browser mobile application ("the App"), developed by Aethcode ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using Neko Browser, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.
1. License and Permitted Use
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your mobile device strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of local, state, national, or international laws.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App.
2. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is very important to us. Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that all browsing history, bookmarks, and settings are saved locally on your device and are your responsibility.
3. Open Source Attribution
Neko Browser utilizes open-source libraries under various permissive licenses, including the Apache License 2.0 and the BSD License.
These libraries include Android Jetpack components, Android WebView, Kotlin Coroutines, SQLite/Room Database, and Glide.
Your use of these components is subject to their respective open-source license agreements.
4. Product Discovery & Affiliate Links
The App features a "Product Discovery" section that offers shopping recommendations.
Affiliate Disclosure: Some product recommendations contain affiliate tracking links from merchants like Amazon and Flipkart. If you click on these links and purchase a product, we may earn an affiliate commission. An informational disclosure is built into the user interface (represented by an info icon).
Third-Party Transactions: We do not sell, fulfill, ship, or support any products displayed in the Product Discovery section. Any transactions, purchases, or customer support issues are handled entirely by the respective third-party merchant (such as Amazon or Flipkart). We are not liable or responsible for your interactions with these merchants.
5. Third-Party Websites & Search Engines
The App provides access to the open internet and third-party search engines. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party websites, search engine results, services, or content. You access third-party sites at your own risk.
6. Age Restrictions and Parent/Guardian Guidance
Neko Browser allows users to access the unrestricted internet. If you are under 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, such as India), you should only use Neko Browser under the supervision or with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
NEKO BROWSER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AETHCODE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AETHCODE OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
