TAEPD is the Tennessee Adult Education Professional Development platform. It has professional development content that can be accessed based on your individual need. You can receive credit or professional development points for courses and eventually earn a “Badge” to demonstrate that you have completed a playlist. 

As part of your continued learning with Adult Education, it is critical to utilize the resources provided to you in TAEPD. Content for teaching strategies, lesson planning, and testing can all be found in the platform. It is encouraged that you take time to engage with content. 

Instructors will also be provided the opportunity to engage with live webinars and targeted learning opportunities. These sessions are advertised on the TAEPD Homepage. It is expected that instructors will engage with TAEPD at least weekly to stay up-to-date on available sessions and access the registration links for any sessions provided. 

General Information for Access

1. Make sure that you been added to the state licensure spreadsheet (Local directors) 

2. Once accounts have been created, you will receive two notification emails. 

a. Schoology (username and password provided) 

b. TAEPD (username provided, user created password) 

3. You will use the work email that has been provided by the local program
