上田平　重樹    ( ウエタビラ　シゲキ  )

鹿児島市在住。1967年生、日置市扇尾出身。会社経営の傍、実家の田を守る。研究・特許実績 (Google Scholar) 

発声のための喉づくりは、會田 茂樹先生*（東京）に師事。

声楽は、山本 航輔先生（東京）、篠原 千鶴子先生（鹿児島）*に師事。(1994参照)

2024年、「超絶美しい甲状軟骨翼を持つ極上の外喉頭」として會田茂樹先生の「喉ニュース」に外喉頭予想図と共に紹介される。また2025年、喉のトレーニング成果として、唯一無二の圧倒的な声（歌声）になると紹介された。きっかけは2014年、結婚式で歌ってお祝いしたいと習い始めたこと。翌年2015年、上野での声楽公開講座にて独唱し、既に鬼籍に入られたイタリア歌曲の先生から「なんと綺麗な声かしら、テノールを絶対に続けなさい。途中でやめてはいけない。」と100名ほどの受講生の前で約束させられた。以来、その約束を守るべく同講座に通う。そして2026年、同講座に参加し、最終日の午前中にVerdiの「L'esule（亡命者）」を歌い上げた。

*會田茂樹先生は、35年もの間、故一色信彦先生（京都大学名誉教授）のもとでの喉頭外来など、日本をはじめ世界の多くの歌手や声を職業にする方々の発声のために尽力してきました。しかしながら健康上の理由で2025年5月を持って引退されました。

*篠原千鶴子先生は、第III回アルフレード・クラウス国際声楽コンクールにて、 オペラ部門　第2位、聴衆賞：観客からの支持による特別賞、DOMNEL賞（最優秀ヴェルディ歌唱賞）：ヴェルディ作品において最も優れた解釈と技術の特別賞という3つの重要な賞を同時に受賞したソプラノ歌手です。

Shigeki Uetabira

Based in Kagoshima City. Born in 1967 in Oogio, Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Completed graduate studies in physics at Kagoshima University Graduate School. Farmer and company owner.   Research & Patents (Google Scholar) 

Studied throat training for voice production under Maestro Shigeki Aida* (Tokyo).

Studied voice under Kosuke Yamamoto (Tokyo) and Chizuko Shinohara* (Kagoshima). (Refer 1994)

In 2024, I was featured in Maestro Shigeki Aida's "Throat News" as possessing "an exceptionally beautiful thyroid cartilage wing and a supreme external larynx," accompanied by a projected diagram of my external larynx. The following year, he noted that my throat training had produced results that would lead to a uniquely overwhelming voice. It began in 2014, when I started lessons because I wanted to sing in celebration at a wedding. The following year, I sang a solo at an open vocal music course in Ueno, Tokyo, where a professor of Italian song — now deceased — told me in front of some 100 participants: "What a beautiful voice! You absolutely must continue with tenor. You must not give up halfway." I was made to promise. Since then, I have continued attending the same course in order to keep that promise. In 2026, I took part again and sang Verdi's "L'esule (The Exile)" on the morning of the final day.

* For 35 years, Maestro Shigeki Aida dedicated himself to vocal training for singers and professional voice users in Japan and worldwide, including through laryngeal clinics under the late Professor Nobuhiko Isshiki (Kyoto University Emeritus Professor). He retired in May 2025 for health reasons.

* Chizuko Shinohara is a soprano who simultaneously won three major awards at the III Alfredo Kraus International Singing Competition in 1994: Second Prize in the Opera Division, the Audience Award (a special prize voted by the audience), and the DOMNEL Prize (Best Verdi Interpretation Award), given for the finest interpretation and technique in the works of Verdi.
