Environmental Model Competition

Exhibition Rules:

Rule 1: Online registration is required.

Rule 2: Do not copy from internet or other sources (Plagiarism leads to disqualification).

Rule 3: Students may submit individual project or work with two partners. Partners must register together on one form. No student may submit more than one project.

Rule 4: Students are responsible for all aspects of the development of their entries.

Rule 5: Students must set up their project, remain with it throughout their judging period, and remove it at the end of the day. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for anything that is left.

Rule 6: Students must be prepared to answer judges’ questions about the content and development of their projects.

Rule 7: Students must carry all equipment, including extension cords.

Rule 8: A label must be attached to the project with the student's name, mobile number, and school/ College name.

Rule 9: Commercially prepared kits or models cannot constitute a major portion of the project.

Rule 10: Students are solely responsible for the security and safety of their equipment.

Rule 11: Table exhibits only. Overall project size must be no more than 24 (wide) X 24(deep) X 24 (high) in inch. The entire project, including charts, labels, equipment, etc. must fit in this space.

Rule 12: Use of hazardous, toxic or flammable materials are not entertained. Candles, bunsen burners and electrical heating devices (i.e., hot plates) are not allowed.

Rule 13: Standard laboratory safety rules must be followed.

Rule 14: Incomplete application will be rejected.

Rule 15: If partners are in different grade levels, the project will be judged in the grade category of the higher grade level. For example, if Student #1 is in grade 10, and Student #2 is in grade 12, the project will be judged in the 12th grade category.

Rule 16: Participants and their parents and/or guardians must abide by all rules and other judgments set for by the Organizing Committee. Failure to do so may result in the participant’s disqualification.
