A Note from Our VPR

"Recruitment is about finding your home. Being at a new school and in a new place can be frightening, so having a sisterhood can be comforting. One piece of advice I can offer when going through recruitment is to give it your all. When you are 100% yourself and are dedicated to the process, it will be rewarding. You will find the women who will be your future bridesmaids. You will find the girls who are there for you, no matter what. You will find unlimited laughter, love, wisdom, and strength. And most importantly, you will find a new piece of yourself. To me, that is sisterhood. Here at Aephi, I am thankful to have that and more. Aephi is my sisters, my support, my family, and my home. So, forever I say LML!"

Rounds of Recruitment

Academic

First round of formal recruitment, this round consists of 20 minute parties with each of the 11 Panhellenic Sororities, with a highlight on academic achievements and goals. Dress is casual; pants/shorts/skirt with Panhellenic provided T-Shirt.

Philanthropy

Second round of formal recruitment. This round consists of 30 minute parties with up to 8 of the Panhellenic Sororities, with a highlight on philanthropy and community service. Dress is business casual! Sweaters, nice shirts, pants, skirts and nice shoes.

Sisterhood

Sisterhood is the third round of formal recruitment. This round consists of 40 minute parties with up to 5 of the Panhellenic Sororities, with a highlight on what sisterhood means to each chapter. Dress code business casual-- sweaters, pants, dresses, skirts, nice shoes.

Preference

Preference round is the final round of formal recruitment. This round consists of 60 minute parties with up to 2 of the Panhellenic Sororities. Dress for this round is semi formal-- nice dresses, skirts, heels or dress shoes.

BID DAY

BID DAY BEST DAY! On bid day you will "run home" to your new sisterhood! Dress is casual (jeans and T-shirt) as apparel will be provided!
