These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AegLynx VPN ("AegLynx VPN", "we", "our", or "us"), including our mobile application and related VPN service (the "App" or "Service").
By installing, opening, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including our no VPN activity logging approach. The Privacy Policy is part of your agreement with us.
1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or older if your country requires a higher minimum age.
If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service, you confirm that you have the legal right and ability to agree to these Terms.
2. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE
AegLynx VPN provides a VPN connection tool intended to help protect your network connection and improve privacy while using the internet.
The Service may include VPN connection features, server selection, connection status information, settings, and related functions.
We may modify, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that any specific server, location, protocol, speed, or feature will always be available.
3. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for how you use the Service.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
You must not use the Service to:
Violate any local, national, or international law;
Commit fraud, harassment, abuse, or other harmful conduct;
Access, distribute, or promote illegal content;
Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights;
Send spam, unsolicited messages, or abusive communications;
Distribute malware, spyware, viruses, or other harmful code;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to networks, devices, accounts, or systems;
Conduct denial-of-service attacks, network scanning, scraping, or similar abusive activity;
Exploit, harm, or endanger minors;
Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service.
If we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service.
4. PRIVACY AND NO-LOGS
We do not monitor or store your VPN browsing activity, as described in our Privacy Policy.
However, using a VPN does not make illegal conduct legal. You remain fully responsible for your online actions and for complying with the laws that apply to you.
AegLynx VPN is not responsible for your misuse of the Service or for consequences resulting from unlawful activity.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The App, Service, design, software, names, logos, graphics, text, and other materials are owned by AegLynx VPN or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own personal and lawful use.
You may not:
Copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or distribute the Service;
Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the Service;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law allows it;
Remove legal notices, trademarks, or ownership notices;
Use the Service to build a competing product or service.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Service may rely on third-party platforms, hosting providers, app stores, network infrastructure, or other service providers to operate.
The App may also contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, privacy practices, or actions.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
7. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We try to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
VPN availability and performance may be affected by many factors, including your device, network conditions, server load, location, local restrictions, maintenance, and third-party infrastructure.
We may perform maintenance or updates without prior notice.
8. NO WARRANTY
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and security.
We do not guarantee that:
The Service will always be available;
The Service will always be fast or error-free;
The Service will bypass all restrictions or access all content;
The Service will be free from all security risks;
Any particular server or feature will remain available.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AegLynx VPN, its owners, developers, partners, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.
This includes damages related to loss of data, loss of profits, service interruption, device issues, third-party actions, inability to access content, or misuse of the Service.
Where applicable law does not allow certain limitations, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Service if:
You violate these Terms;
Your use creates risk, harm, or legal exposure;
We are required to do so by law;
The Service is discontinued or changed;
We need to protect the Service, users, or third parties.
You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting from the VPN and uninstalling the App.
Sections that are intended to survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.
11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms, unless applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.
