This Privacy Policy explains how AegLynx VPN ("AegLynx VPN", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application and related VPN service (the "App" or "Service").
AegLynx VPN is designed to provide a private and secure VPN connection. We aim to collect as little information as possible and we do not use your VPN activity to identify, profile, or track you.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.
1. NO VPN ACTIVITY LOGS
We do not monitor, record, or store your VPN browsing activity.
This means we do not keep records of:
The websites or apps you access through the VPN;
The content of your network traffic;
Your DNS queries;
Your browsing history;
Files, messages, or data transmitted through the VPN connection;
The specific online services you connect to while using the VPN.
We also do not maintain VPN activity logs that are linked to an individual user.
2. LIMITED INFORMATION WE MAY HANDLE
Although we do not log VPN activity, the App may handle limited technical information that is necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
This may include:
Device model;
Operating system version;
App version;
Language setting;
General connection status;
Basic error or crash information;
Technical information needed to establish and maintain the VPN connection.
This information is used only for service operation, troubleshooting, security, compatibility, and performance improvement. It is not used to inspect what you do through the VPN tunnel.
3. VPN PERMISSION
The App requires VPN permission from your device in order to create a secure VPN connection.
Granting VPN permission allows the App to route your network traffic through an encrypted VPN tunnel. This permission does not mean that we store your browsing history or read the content of your traffic.
You may revoke the VPN permission at any time through your device settings. If you revoke it, the VPN function will no longer work.
4. THIRD-PARTY SDKs AND ADVERTISING
At this time, AegLynx VPN does not include third-party advertising, attribution, or marketing analytics SDKs such as Google AdMob, AppsFlyer, or Facebook SDK.
We do not currently use these SDKs to collect advertising identifiers, attribution events, ad impressions, ad clicks, or marketing analytics data.
If we add advertising, attribution, analytics, or similar third-party SDKs in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when those changes take effect.
5. SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS
If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and the content of your message.
We use this information only to respond to your request, investigate issues, provide support, and improve the Service. We do not use support messages for advertising or sell them to third parties.
6. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We may use limited technical or support information to:
Provide and maintain the VPN Service;
Troubleshoot connection problems;
Improve App stability and compatibility;
Protect the Service from abuse, fraud, or technical attacks;
Respond to your support requests;
Comply with legal obligations where required.
We do not use VPN activity data for advertising, profiling, or behavior tracking.
7. INFORMATION SHARING
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information only in the following situations:
With service providers who help operate infrastructure, hosting, support, or security systems;
When required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request;
When necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the Service, or others;
In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
Because we do not keep VPN browsing logs, we cannot provide browsing history, DNS queries, VPN traffic content, or records of what you accessed through the VPN.
8. DATA RETENTION
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy.
VPN activity logs are not retained because we do not create them.
Support emails may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, resolve issues, and maintain business records. Technical diagnostic information, if collected, is kept only for a limited period needed for security, maintenance, and service improvement.
9. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information handled by the App.
The VPN Service is designed to transmit traffic through an encrypted connection. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. You use the Service with the understanding that all online systems carry some level of risk.
10. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Our infrastructure, service providers, or support systems may be located in different countries. If information is processed outside your country, we take reasonable steps to protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
AegLynx VPN is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by the laws of your country.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.
Because we do not keep VPN activity logs, we may not have browsing or connection activity information associated with you. If you contact us about your privacy rights, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
13. LEGAL REQUESTS
We may respond to valid legal requests where required by law.
However, we do not keep records of your VPN browsing history, DNS queries, traffic content, or online activity through the VPN. As a result, we cannot provide information that we do not collect or store.
14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
If the changes are significant, we may provide additional notice through the App or another reasonable method.
