Are you applying to USC? USC's supplemental essays often include "short take" questions that encourage creative, concise answers. Please see examples on document!
Be Authentic and Strategic: Choose answers that reveal positive qualities and passions, but avoid trying too hard to impress with clichés.
Show, Don't Just Tell: For the "three words" question, consider asking friends for words that describe you to find unique adjectives.
Use Figurative Language: For the theme song question, a favorite song can reveal your values or resilience, much like a snack choice can be a metaphor for a positive trait, according to one USC blog post.
Demonstrate Passion: The "talk to a million people" or "which topic would you choose to teach" question is an opportunity to showcase a deep interest, so your chosen topic should align with your academic pursuits.
