Welcome to the Department of Computer Application at Asansol Engineering College. We started our journey in the year of 2001. Over the last one decade, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Computer Science and Application.

We offer a postgraduate program (MCA). Our Department has produced hundreds of professionals who have established themselves in our country and abroad. We want the education imparted to our students to be the base of a lifelong learning. I believe learning is a continuous process and does not end with the acquisition of a degree. Our aim is not to make our student a walking manual of any language or package, instead, to make a person having a strong foundation in computer science and problem-solving techniques with adaptability according to changes in technology.

Thus I am confident that our students will emerge as assets not only to this institution and to the organization they belong, but also to the country at large. I congratulate the team of faculty members and the students for their brilliant effort. I wish all the students and faculty a great academic career.
