Activities Performed During Lockdown Period of COVID-19

1. Faculty & Technical staff members of the Department taking online live classes (Theory, as well as Lab classes) using Digital platform such as Canvas, Zoom, Google classroom. Students are eagerly participating in the class with attendance of more than 90%.

2. Department of CA organized coding competition for all first year B.Tech and MCA students of Asansol Engineering College on 25^th April 2020

3. Regular interaction is being carried out with the mentor and mentee to boost the students during this critical situation

4. Students participated in a Poster presentation competition held by KaaserAec and one of our students Ms. Suprity Das, MCA is awarded with best poster.

5. Students are motivated to participate in a quiz contest held in our college. Highest number of students participated in that event from CA Department.

6. Online classes for MCA final year project is going on.

7. Faculty members of our Department are taking grooming classes on C-programming for 2^nd year students of few Departments.

8. We have already collected testimonials of our Alumni.

9. To enhance the admission process, few students from outside colleges were already contacted.

10. Department successfully organized webinar on “5G” Delivered by Mr. Indranil Basu, Alumni of MCA & Head- VNF on 25^th April 2020

11. Department successfully organized webinar on “PHP” Delivered by Mr. Joydev Payra, Alumni of MCA & Team Leader, Corelynx Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Kolkata for MCA students on 26^th April 2020

12. Department successfully organized webinar on “Performance Testing Overview” Delivered by Mr. Manas Paul, Alumni of MCA & Sr. SAP Performance Tester, Ingram Micro, Mumbai for MCA students on 10^th May 2020
