1. Here is a presentation Alyse gave in October 2022 about her recent Camino experience in July 2022. Waking up daily at 5am to walk about 20km over 37 days from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, on the French side of the Pyrenees, to Santiago de Compostela in Spain which is about 800 km (500 miles). This is something thousands of pilgrims do on the Camino de Santiago every year. Alyse shares why pilgrimages are so important for the spiritual life, how she prepared for this journey, her hardships on the way, some hints and tips for a better journey, stories about other pilgrims and the impact the Camino made on her.
