How do I sign up as a student?

Click on the "Tutoring" tab above and fill out the form, or email us directly.

Are there any requirements for becoming a tutor?

We want our students to have the most fulfilling experience possible, so we require that tutors have a GPA above 3.5 (UW) and are able to demonstrate proficiency in the subjects they choose to tutor.

Is in-person tutoring available?

At the moment, Ad Meliora only offers virtual learning options. However, students may coordinate with their tutor to arrange in-person classes if the tutor is willing.

Can I choose my tutor?

If you have a preference for who you/your child is paired with, feel free to email us and let us know, but we cannot guarantee that you will be paired with that person. Our tutors are some of the most academically ambitious high schoolers and therefore have extremely demanding schedules. 

I signed up for tutoring a while ago, why haven't I been paired?

We try to pair our students with tutors who are most qualified in the subject of the student's interest. As such, it is sometimes difficult to find a perfect fit. We appreciate your patience in being paired.
