Welcome reception
On Sunday April 27 at 7 pm there will be a Welcome Reception at Galleria Navarra https://www.gallerianavarra.org/ in Piazza dei Martiri.
Galleria Navarra has a centuries-old and eventful history, marked by numerous changes in ownership. Its construction began in 1855 as a Giardino di Delizie (Garden of Delights) annexed to the monumental Palazzo Nunziante, designed by the architect Enrico Alvino.
In 1939, Salvatore Navarra, a Neapolitan antique dealer with a wide range of interests, used it as an exhibition venue and as a meeting point for friends, clients, and art experts.
In 1952, Italy’s Ministry of Public Education placed a historic and artistic protection order on the property and its garden. The gallery became a window to the world, offering a collection of antiques, paintings, ancient carpets, and unexpected treasures. Over time, it began to specialize primarily in the sale of carpets.
In 2022, Galleria Navarra Ristorante officially opened its doors.
To walk from the Conference Center on Via Partenope to Piazza dei Martiri in Naples, follow these directions:
Start on Via Partenope, walking east (keeping the sea on your right).
Continue straight until you reach Piazza Vittoria.
At Piazza Vittoria, turn left onto Via Calabritto.
Walk straight on Via Calabritto until you reach Via Chiaia.
Turn right onto Via Chiaia and walk a short distance.
After a few meters, you will arrive at Piazza dei Martiri.
The walk is about 1 km (10-15 minutes) and takes you through one of Naples' most elegant areas.

The social dinner will take place in the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia https://www.ryccsavoia.it/it/, located on the waterfront near the Congress Center (Banchina Santa Lucia, 13).
The Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, founded in 1893, is one of Italy’s most prestigious and historic yacht clubs. Nestled along the picturesque waterfront of Naples, in the charming Borgo Marinari, the club offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius, and the iconic Castel dell’Ovo. The club's elegant setting, blending maritime tradition with refined hospitality, provides the perfect backdrop for the Gala dinner of our scientific conference.

The Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia is located in Borgo Marinari, just a short distance from the conference center.
From Via Partenope, head towards Castel dell’Ovo, the historic seaside castle.
Cross the small bridge leading to Borgo Marinari, a charming marina area with restaurants and boats.
Once inside Borgo Marinari, follow the path along the waterfront. You will find the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia on your right.
The walk takes about 5 minutes.
