Space weather: Geomagnetic storm

I'm a PhD student under supervision of Dr Shazana (Main supervisor) and Dr. Adlyka (Co-supervisor) at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). I'm interested in studying space weather phenomena. My research focuses on equatorial ionospheric phenomena' response toward space weather events (geomagnetic storms). Click here for more information about my research project. We started a research project by identifying geomagnetic events for the complete solar cycle 24. This research is important for the long-term goal of this study towards achieving a reliable real-time space weather monitoring system.

AGN Detection Using High Energy Emission Line [NeV] in the mid-IR regime

Hey there. I am a Master's student under the supervision of Dr. Adlyka at UKM. My research interest is on active supermassive blackholes at galactic centres called the Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN). Some questions I try to answer such as: what are the AGN properties found in a multiwavelength analysis, or how does different selection technique produce different AGN fraction. :)
