Dr. Adlyka Annuar is a Malaysian astrophysicist, currently working as a Senior Lecturer at the National University of Malaysia. She is the first and currently the only astronomer in Malaysia with primary expertise in X-ray astronomy. Dr. Adlyka's research mostly focus on black holes, active galactic nuclei, cosmic X-ray background radiation, galaxies, stars and multiwavelength astronomical observations. Her most significant research discovery includes the discovery of a hidden active supermassive black hole in a nearby galaxy, NGC 1448. Read more about her here, and her research group here!
