The project was born from a simple observation: how difficult it is to stay focused while learning from video content, where YouTube often becomes a source of distraction rather than knowledge. Our team, known as Dziołębie, set out to create a tool that doesn’t just track time, but actively engages the brain in the learning process.
The HackYeah Breakthrough
During the finals of HackYeah—Europe's largest stationary hackathon—we took on the challenge of building an innovative educational solution in just 24 hours.
We chose to leverage cutting-edge, on-device AI using the Gemini Nano model. This allowed us to create an assistant that is lightning-fast and 100% private.
We built an ecosystem that combines real-time quiz generation, a distraction tracker, and logic games to aid mental recovery.
Our 'Privacy by Design' approach and seamless integration with the Chrome browser made a huge impression on the judges.
Our Success: Winning HackYeah! 🏆
The crowning achievement for team Dziołębie was taking 1st place in our category at HackYeah—the largest in-person hackathon in Europe. In just 24 hours of intense coding, we turned a raw idea into a working prototype that stood out among dozens of other innovative projects.
