The Adelaide II Feldenkrais® Professional Training program will prepare students for competence (and therefore certification) in the practice of both Awareness Through Movement® and Functional Integration®.
Trainees may exit the program after 400h as a certifiable ATM® teacher as recognised by the AFG Inc, completion of the second 400h will also confer certification as a Feldenkrais Practitioner of FI®.
ATM® only teachers will complete a 6 month internship within their program which requires participation in 25h of ATM® instruction with a nominated mentor and journal of learning experiences.
Purpose
The Purpose of the Training Program is to provide the environment and curriculum for students to develop the necessary skills, knowledge, confidence and competence to work as a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® (both ATM® and FI® if competing the full program).
Another important purpose is to foster the development of lifelong learning at a personal, development level.

Communicates the essential aims, beliefs and concepts of the Feldenkrais Method® and its practice
Engages in ATM® (and FI®) as a personal practice - a process of self-directed, life-long learning
Facilitates embodied learning with groups (and individuals) through ATM® lessons
Facilitates embodied learning with individuals through FI® lessons
Applies fundamental pedagogical (teaching and learning) methods developed by Mose Feldenkrais to ATM® and FI® practice
Engages with Feldenkrais Method® resource materials for personal and professional development
Has knowledge from other fields relevant to the Feldenkrais Method®
Applies practice standards, code of conduct and business practices relevant for professional practice in the Feldenkrais Method®.
The expected outcomes are to graduate all students who can demonstrate the competencies and practice standards as noted, in order to offer ATM® and FI® lessons to the general public.
