Upcoming retreats
March 14 (Saturday): One-day zazenkai
This one-day intensive will be led by Allan Marett Roshi and held at St Chad's Church (14 Cheltenham St Fullarton). It will take the form of two practice blocks (morning and afternoon). Those who are relatively new to Zen practice are especially encouraged to attend. An intensive offers the opportunity to extend your sitting time in preparation for, or as an alternative to, a full sesshin.
Places will be somewhat limited (around 15 participants) to accommodate the size of the venue and to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to attend dokusan over the course of the day.
You may apply for full-time (2 practice blocks) or part-time (1 practice block) attendance. The fee will be $15 per block ie: $30 for the whole day.

April: Four-day non-residential sesshin (Friday 24th to Monday 28th)
The teachers for this program will be Imelda Carson. The venue will be the Sophia Centre in Cumberland Park.
July: Two-day intensive (Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th)
The teachers for this program will be Imelda Carson and Steve Wigg. The venue will be the Sophia Centre in Cumberland Park.
September: Five-day residential sesshin (dates TBC)
The teachers for this program will be Allan Marett and Steve Wigg. The venue will be at Goolwa Beach.
November: Two-day intensive (Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th)
The teachers for this program will be Imelda Carson and Steve Wigg. The venue will be the Sophia Centre in Cumberland Park.
December: Online Rohastu zazenkai (dates TBC)
The teacher for this program will be Allan Marett.
