I've written and narrated a number of short-form episodes for the flagship program BirdNote Daily, with themes about prehistoric birds and the relationships between birds and Black scientists. I also co-produced and hosted an episode of the fifth season of the long-form series, Bring Birds Back, focusing on the impacts of invasive aquatic plants on birds and their habitats.
I featured as a guest co-host and interviewee alongside regular series runners Dr. Albert Chen and Joan Turmelle. We discussed my experiences in museum curation, bird conservation, and the importance of diversity in science outreach, plus some interesting discoveries published in July 2023 about both coelacanth and stingray evolution, and the reconstruction of a Neolithic family tree using ancient DNA.
I appeared as a storyteller on a special Chinese New Year themed episode of the Radiolab for Kids series, Terrestrials. The task: use creatures from worlds past and present to create a (somewhat) realistic dragon.
I featured in season 5 of The 'We Out Here' Pod, chattin' it up with hosts Alexi Grousis and Allison Jones about birds and science outreach through the lens of Black Birders Week.
Amid the 2020 lockdowns, I dusted off my rudimentary video production skills and created my YouTube channel, Adasaur. I primarily cover topics in paleontology such as Triassic fauna, diversity in the field, and reviews of contemporary media like books and documentaries. I've also occasionally collaborated with other paleo-YouTubers, including participated in the annual EDGE-led series PaleoRewind (2021 and 2025).

A video I produced as a tie-in for the first piece I wrote for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's magazine All About Birds, covering the history and purpose of the then-new and online event, Black Birders Week. Read the second (2022) and third (2024) articles for more.
A vlog-style series I produced for the Black AF in STEM Collective documenting my first field research experience at a seabird breeding colony on Maine's Outer Green Island as part of the National Audubon Seabird Institute. View the full 3-part series here.
A short film I featured in about the relationships between birds and plants, produced by Elle Rinaldi for the World Sensorium/Conservancy. You can read the full interview here.
