Whether it's working in a museum collection, living among seabird breeding colonies, excavating fossils in the middle of a desert summer, helping people discover their local avian neighbors, or hosting a podcast, my diverse and growing array of experiences have all been rooted in a lifelong love of nature and our shared history as life on Earth. Outside of science things, you can find me playing steel pan, enjoying a board game, and regaining my trumpet chops.
