Volunteer Experience

Midwest Food Bank 

During my time volunteering at Midwest Food Bank, I had so many valuable experiences. I was able to connect with people from all walks of life while we came together to package food for people in need. Most of the experience was packaging food items from local grocery stores that were not able to be sold but were still able to be consumed. It was so rewarding to see people and families be able to keep food on their tables because of the work we were doing to pack boxes of food for them. The people that I met along the way left a lasting impression on me and I will continue to volunteer there for the foreseeable future.
