Joining as a Member
New members are always welcome at Adastral Sailing. You don't have to work for BT or another company on Adastral Park to join. The club is open to everybody, although all members must be over 18 years of age.
As the Adastral Park Sailing Club (Adastral Sailing) is affiliated to Adastral Park Leisure and Sports (AtLAS), to join the Club, prospective members must either already be members of AtLAS or pay a supplement.
Full and Associate Memberships
If you qualify for AtLAS membership, then you will have to pay for the AtLAS annual Bronze Membership Plan fee and will qualify for Full Membership of Adastral Sailing. More details about AtLAS are on our 'About us' page.
If you don't qualify for AtLAS membership, then you may be eligible for Associate Membership of Adastral Sailing to use the Club's facilities. You must pay supplement, equivalent to the AtLAS Bronze Membership Plan fee, to Adastral Sailing, which is forwarded to AtLAS.
Types of Club Membership
There are three types of craft membership within Adastral Sailing that apply to both Full and Associate Members:
Yacht Members can skipper, train or crew on Yacht Samos as well as use the dinghies.
Dinghy Members can helm, train or crew on our dinghies.
Owner Members will have their own boats and join in with club events such as races and rallies.
Owner Members may not hire Club craft, although they may conduct training sessions, partake in yacht races, and skipper on the yacht’s summer cruise, if properly qualified.
Students are exempt from any AtLAS fees.
