I am pursuing my Doctor of Philosophy in the area of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) Electrocatalyst, under the guidance of Prof S. Venugopal.

The rapid increase in the population has popularized the search for alternative sources of energy generation. Reckless use of fossil fuels has led to environmental problems like ozone layer depletion, pollution, global warming, etc. Together with this, the inflaming oil price and the approach of peak oil have contributed to the development of an alternative fuel vehicle. The advancement of cleaner alternative fuels and the development of power systems enables us to harvest the energy from fuel cells, opening new avenues to explore.
