Prime Minister's Research Fellow
Laboratory for Functional Nanostructures(LABFUN)
Department of Chemical Engineering
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
I am pursuing my Doctor of Philosophy in the area of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) Electrocatalyst, under the guidance of Prof S. Venugopal.
I work at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, specialising in the development of durable, carbon-free nanostructured thin-film electrocatalysts for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCS). As a recipient of the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF), my research focuses on cost-effective, scalable roll-to-roll manufacturing of ultra-low platinum-loaded membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) to improve the efficiency and longevity of PEMFCS.
My work inclines towards addressing critical challenges faced in electrocatalysis, particularly in reducing platinum usage while maintaining high catalytic activity and stability in fuel cell-operated vehicles.
My research interests pertain to Renewable Energy, PEM Fuel Cells, Solar Cells, Nanotechnology, and Electrocatalysis.
For more information about my research, reach out via email. Would be happy to hear from you.
