Tights
Tights
As a convenience to our families, ADA provides the correct tights with each costume. To ensure that there are no discrepancies in color and style, students are required to have the following tights for their classes. Please purchase an extra pair of new tights for the recital, and do not wear or wash them before the dress rehearsal or performance. Tights are available at the studio or from dancewear stores. Be sure to purchase the correct style!

The following shoes are required for all students. All girls’ tap shoes must have tan elastic (remove all ties).
Acro Classes
Acro dancers will not wear shoes, or tights with their costumes.
Required Shoes:
Ballet:
-Pink Ballet Slippers: All Levels
-Black Ballet shoes: Boys
Tap:
-Tan Tap Shoes: Junior Level and all Combo classes
-Black Tap shoes: Boys
-Black Split Sole Tap Oxford: All Pre-Intermediate A through Advanced D classes
Lyrical:
-Nude Foot-Undeez: All levels
Jazz:
-Nude Foot-Undeez: Junior Level and all Combo classes
Tan Jazz Boot: All Pre-Intermediate A through Advanced D classes
Black Jazz shoes: Boys
Hip Hop:
Black/White Converse style shoe: All students
Hair and Makeup
Hair and Makeup
All female students are required to wear makeup for the recital: A pink lipstick, blush, eye shadow (darker colors are best), and mascara are suggested. Any other makeup is at your discretion! Remember this is stage makeup, so that we can see their faces under the stage lights! *Preschool parents, please do as you feel comfortable!
Uniform hairstyles are required. All female students must wear their hair in a high or low bun. Dancers with short hair must pull their hair SECURELY away from the face. {hair clipped back, secured with gel, bobby pins, etc}. Please ensure that all fly-aways are hair sprayed back. If the teacher wants a specific hair style for their dance they will let you know.

**New this year** All combo classes will have a "Recital Box" that contains their costumes' accessories (skirts, tutus, headpieces, etc). Please bring these boxes to class with you on the last week of class (May 26-31). Additionally, these will need to come with you to Dress Rehearsal and Recital! Families are encouraged to decorate their boxes and make it special!
Please be sure to label your box with your dancers first name and last initial.
