Tiffany Ku

Hello all!

My name is Tiffany, and I am a high school teacher based in Coquitlam, BC.

During my first year of teaching, I quickly stumbled into a pilot tech program offered in the district, which at the time was mobile assessments and documentation of learning through e-portfolios. I then became increasingly curious and commited to finding the best k-12 technologies in my own classroom as the years passed. Flash forward a couple years, and here I am!

When I am not teaching, I love being outdoors and making light fixtures and lamps.

Lyon Tsang

Hi everyone!

This is Lyon, writing to you from Coquitlam BC.

I actually studied at UBC for my undergrad — sociology. After graduating, I went to Queen's University to study even more sociology.

Now, I'm back at UBC as staff — working in an e-learning / instructional support role.

I enjoy writing, watching basketball, and eating in my free time...

Sally Bourque

Hello site visitors!

My name is Sally, and about 10 years ago a confluence of circumstances allowed me to stumble into the Educational Technology space and I've never stumbled out.

I've since worked as an 'educational technology trainer', a 'learning and development specialist' in the private sector, and currently hold the title of 'instructional designer' for an eCampus.

I love science fiction and think it's fascinating to watch how technologies track from fiction to reality. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has long been a paragon of technological innovation adaptive technologies are one step along the path to AI.
