I trained at the Irish College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) where I achieved a diploma in Orthopaedic manipulative therapy. I then qualified as an Orthopaedic Manipulative therapist, Functional Range Assessment specialist, Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist, and Kinstretch instructor. I also have certifications in first aid, taping and strapping and am registered with the Irish Association of Manipulative Therapists (IAMT)
I developed my passion for helping others through my own personal experience with injuries, pain and stiffness. While travelling in Australia and Canada I experimented with various movement practices in a search for the key to pain free movement.
I found it in the Functional anatomy training systems taught by Dr Andreo Spina, a world-renowned chiropractor and movement expert, who developed the Functional range systems which are being used by health care providers across the world, as well as by top trainers in the NFL, NBA, NHL, UFC and a host of top athletes, to mitigate injuries and improve overall performance.
Using physical therapy (a combination of massage, assisted stretching and joint mobilizations) to relieve pain, I also aims to educate each individual about their condition, and most importantly, how to use and look after their own bodies so they can stay pain free in the long term throughout their lives.
