Policies as of 01.Jan.2023:

1. As of January 1, 2023, the cost of a scheduled class slot is $45 for one hour ($22.50 for a half hour). Full hour sessions are recommended; I do not recommend longer sessions without some extenuating circumstance.

2. Payments must be made in advance of a class to secure a time slot. If a client has not yet logged onto their BitPaper page 5 minutes past scheduled time, a reminder message will be sent (MMS text message if a phone number is on file, or by email). Payments held on record are assumed to be honored upon the completion of a class.

3. First time: Whenever scheduling permits, new students are eligible for up to 20 additional minutes at their first class at no extra charge, if scheduling permits. This is to can establish a better understanding of what new students may need and the goals we should aim for.

4. Class start time: Start time will begin no later than 5 minutes past the scheduled appointment. I strive to be prompt, but sometimes this is not possible. Reasonable accommodations for delayed starts where I am at fault include but are not limited to:

   • Extending end time to make up for any lost time in excess of 5 minutes from the start of class (when scheduling permits);

   • Refunding or holding-as-unspent half the slot's value for a loss of time in excess of 15 minutes;

   • Rescheduling the class slot.

5. Failure to appear within 15 minutes of the allotted time is considered a "no-show," such that if a client does not respond to a reminder message or log into the BitPaper within 15 minutes of the start of our scheduled time, I am likely to leave and may not be able to return promptly. Payment for services will be considered complete with no refund or reschedule offered.

6. Scheduling standard practices: Clients may schedule any number of weekly, bi-weekly, or one-time classes in any combination. Recurring weekly or bi-weekly slots must be paid in advance of each class or for any number of classes in advance. Such clients are given protected preferred time slots for their recurring sessions.

7. Rescheduling limitations: Paid time slots may be rescheduled prior to class time, and the rescheduled slot may be established any day within 1 week of that slot. Changes to scheduling should be requested no later than 1 hour ahead of the beginning of my classes in order to assure ability to accommodate. Assume 2pm to be the cut-off on most weekdays and 10am to be the cutoff on most weekends. Changes may still be requested during said classes, but I cannot guarantee that I will be able to address a request or make such changes while I am teaching.

8. Vacations and Extended Pauses: For clients who hold recurring weekly and bi-weekly scheduled classes, vacations and extended pauses longer than three weeks constitutes a forfeit of their protected time slot.

9. Curriculum: I am currently in the process of producing curriculum and may offer it free of charge as a part of the service I am providing, but until such time as this curriculum is written it cannot be assumed that I can provide it.

10. Prior Agreement: If I currently hold payments on record for a client for a session that was not held prior to 1.Jan.2023, they may request a class at any time my schedule permits and I will honor their request.

11. Any reasonable exceptions can always be made. Please feel free to ask!
