Do You Suffer From Allergies?
Carpet cleaning isn’t just for appearances but it also helps to create a healthier indoor air environment. Carpet happens to be a sponge for pollen, pollutants, and soil.
That’s why carpet cleaning is great for people who have asthma and allergies because the process removes pollen and dander (human and pet dander). Our clients who suffer from allergies consistently tell us that the day after we’re done with our cleaning process, they breathe and live much better.
Do You Need Your Carpet Sanitized?
You can’t just apply a sanitizer or sanitizing fog to carpet. Carpets need to be cleaned first before they can be sanitized. It turns out that soil covers germs and microbes and needs to be removed so that sanitizers can actually work. Sanitizing fogs are really for the nooks and crannies in your home where water-based carpet cleaning tools can’t or shouldn’t be used.
As a matter of fact, the EPA recommends that floor surfaces must be cleaned first before the application of the sanitizer (i.e. cleaning with soap and water first). You have to wet the surface with the appropriate amount of liquid (and dwell time) to achieve true sanitization.
Water: Not Too Much, Not Too Little
Many novice carpet cleaning services will tend to crank up the water output to get your carpets clean. At Adam’s Carpet Cleaning, we know just the right amount of water to get out the stain while leaving your home and carpet in good shape after we’re done.
You see, too much water can delaminate carpet and completely ruin it. Additionally, water that soaks through carpet can also damage floorboards, moldings, and even walls. Carpet cleaning is an art! And only masterful technicians know how to clean carpet correctly.
