If you are unfamiliar with the golden goal, the goal we are talking about is when Sidney Crosby scored the overtime winning goal in the 2010 Winter Olympics for Canada to secure the gold medal for the Canadian Men's hockey team. What made this creative is that we interviewed a family who was split for this game. 2 people in the family were at the actual game, and the rest were at home. We got two different perspectives of this game. One of the kids at home is a die-hard hockey fan who was jealous of his dad and older brother, who went to the game. The brother, who was at the game initially, didn’t want to go on this “surprise trip” with his dad. The issue that we faced with this documentary was that when we filmed, we shot our interviews from different camera angles. This meant that when we went to edit, the clips looked flipped. Our editor found a way to flip these when editing; thankfully, it was not too hard a fix. 

This is one of the pictures we used when editing our documentary. This picture signifies the passion that the Gremont family has for hockey which led them to purchase tickets for the Olympic Gold Medal game in 2010. The game which our documentary was formed around.

This was our team for thr documentarty, we all worked hard putting countless hours into this documentary . My role for this project was the director. I overlooked the shots, interviewed the subjects, and narrated the documentary. I also helped with creating the final cut. I worked with the editor to make our vision come to life.
