The following poster is an example I made to demonstrate the ways the I can apply rhetorical strategies I have learned through this course to help combat the spread of medical misinformation. This poster targets college students with the goal to encourage taking a hypothetical "Misinformation Resilience Class," which is meant to teach practical ways to identify medical misinformation in order to stop its spread.Â
The second artifact I have here is a hypothetical Grant Proposal to the U.S. Department of Education. With this, I targeted officials with the resources to fund a hypothetical study that would prove the effectiveness of the class from Artifact 1. The goal of this would be to prove the benefits of this class through empirical data, that would then encourage the class's widespread implementation.
