MEMBERSHIP

Membership in 2023 costs $12 per fortnight. There are three methods of paying for membership:

1. Direct deduction pre-tax from your fortnightly payslip by 'RMO ASSOC' ($12 per payslip)

2. Annual bank transfer ($312 per year, or pro-rata to the end of the clinical year [Feb-Jan])

3. Joint membership with the AMA ACT:

   • This requires additional submission of an AMA ACT membership form

   • Membership fees are deducted as one deduction from your payslip by 'AUST MEDICAL ASSOC (ACT)' and then the JMOA fee is transferred to the JMOA

   • This option saves $104 annually on your AMA ACT membership fee ($2 per week)
