For the moment, we will arrange for you to leave them in front of your home and someone from our team will come pick them up. At the moment, it is just family and friends doing the pickups. However, we have limited reach and resources so it may take some time to schedule so don't put anything out until you've heard from us.
We WILL:
Consider anything we touch to be infected (no offense)
Be considerate of your privacy
Only send honorable people that we know personally and would trust our own children with
We WILL NOT:
knock on your door or touch anything except what we're picking up
share your address information. We will delete it from our system as soon as the pick-up is complete.
send some nutjob to your house for the pickup
The pickup of masks has been easy up until now. I know everyone personally that has donated and grabbing things from porches hasn't been an issue. Expanding to people we don't know puts us at risk. It's a risk we are willing to take as, proportionally, the risk to health care professionals that don't have proper equipment is far greater. I feel that we are less exposed doing pickups then when we shop for groceries. But... we will not approach any location that doesn't feel safe.
