Recycling @ Home

While you are at school, you work hard to recycle in your classroom, in the blue recycle bins around campus, and at the SCRAP cart. What about at home? Are you recycling, and are you recycling correctly? Why is it important to recycle? The most important reasons we recycle are to use less of Earth’s precious resources, to keep our landfills from overflowing, and to keep pollution out of our oceans.

So many things can be recycled, such as cans, paper, cardboard, and glass. Once recycled, they are made into other products. Today you will be looking in your recycling bin to see what is being recycled and if you are recycling properly.
