DIY Rain Gauge

When rain is in the forecast, let's go outside!

In this Action Project, you will make your own rain gauge to measure the amount of rainfall this week using items you can find around the house. You'll record your scientific predictions and findings on provided worksheets. Upper grades (and younger students w/assistance) will calculate the rain harvesting potential of their own roofs! You can fill out the worksheets or just make a rain gauge for fun. It's up to you.
