In 1987 my first laptop - a Toshiba 386 with 4 megs of RAM and a colour screen (16 or 12, I can't remember which) - came preloaded with Excel 2.0.
I found a course on Excel macros and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) on VHS in the Eskom Park library and haven't looked back since.
