Hello, my name is Nele and I am a German student in Rome. I am currently enrolled in the Master’s degree program in "Applied Dynamic and Clinical Psychology" at Sapienza University of Rome. My academic path is driven by a deep interest in applied clinical psychology and intervention methodologies that can generate a concrete impact on the social field.
Beyond my university training, I bring an international cultural background that pushes me to constantly seek connections between different realities and languages. I love the idea that psychology does not remain closed within consultation rooms but knows how to dialogue with the community, combining theory and practice to respond to the emerging needs of third-sector contexts.
I chose to carry out my practical-evaluative internship at ACROSS APS to immerse myself in a multi-professional environment where I could learn the design and management of psychosocial interventions. This experience is allowing me to acquire specific skills in using technical tools such as logical frameworks and the Theory of Change (ToC), which are essential for operating professionally and effectively in this sector.
I've studying for setting up a draft of the Theory of Change map for the project "San Basilio. Un polo di opportunità e vicinanza" developped by Across APS within the Polo Civico san Basilio network.
I collaborated on the international EUF project, an initiative aimed at strengthening intergenerational dialogue through ludic and digital tools. Specifically, I worked on the German translation of the EUF Game. This task was not just a linguistic exercise but a true process of psycho-educational adaptation, aimed at ensuring that the game dynamics and its educational objectives were accessible and culturally coherent for the German-speaking public. It was a valuable opportunity to reflect on the connection between technical tools and psychological practice in international contexts.
Round table discussion with representatives from Mental Health Public Services, IV Municipality and no profit organisations - October 2025
I had the opportunity to participate in an institutional meeting with the ASL (Local Health Authority), a fundamental moment of observation to understand how the monitoring and evaluation processes of psychological interventions are structured within the territory. Participating in this meeting allowed me to see firsthand the management of relations with stakeholders and the complexity of networking between third-sector organizations and public institutions, strengthening my ability to analyze context and its criticalities.
COMMUNITY EVENT & PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING in the context of Ro.Mens
I took part in an important community event that saw the participation of numerous professionals in the field, engaged in a series of talks and roundtables. Listening to the different stories and experiences offered me a broad overview of the current challenges in social and clinical psychology. It was a stimulating moment of exchange that favored my autonomous reflection on professional ethics and deontology, allowing me to establish meaningful connections with colleagues and other experts in the sector.
I actively collaborated on the SUCCESS EU Project, a transnational initiative focused on the European Education Area and social inclusion models. My involvement spanned from the initial revision of the SUCCESS EU Report to the finalization of the Project Report.
A significant part of my role involved technical coordination and international cooperation. I participated in several Partner Meetings focused on budget planning, proposal changes, and Q&A sessions with international stakeholders. Specifically, I worked on the Partner sections of the project, ensuring that the contributions of various institutional partners were aligned with the overall objectives.
Through this project, I applied advanced organizational tools, such as mapping stakeholders and beneficiaries and analyzing the influence and interest of institutional partners. This experience was fundamental in refining my skills in Project Management, allowing me to understand the complexities of formatting and finalizing a large-scale European grant proposal while maintaining a high standard of professional and ethical coordination
