We are working on launching a dedicated, confidential helpline to provide immediate support for individuals and families facing urgent challenges. This service aims to be a lifeline for those in need, offering guidance, resources, and a listening ear.
A key feature of our helpline will be 'Nadia' on the Helpline, which provides culturally sensitive support, tailored specifically for Muslim and BME communities. 'Nadia' will be there to listen, guide, and offer resources in a safe and understanding environment.
ARC is committed to fostering an anti-racist culture in East Lothian. We want to work directly with children and young people to develop an Anti-Racist Charter that Early Years, Primary, and Secondary Schools can adopt.
Additionally, we hope to extend this to other organisations.
This charter will be a tangible step towards equality, inclusion, and systemic change within our community.
