HOW TO USE CAR SETS
It's always a good idea to make a backup of your current CARS or TRUCKS ("CA96" with the N2 installation) folder in your game directory. My personal method is to make the backup, tuck it away somewhere safe on my computer, delete all of the car files in the CARS/TRUCKS folder in the game directory, and drop my preferred car set and .LST file into the folder. This simply prevents the Driver Info screen from becoming a mess. NOTE: The cars and trucks folders need to have a CARS.DAT (CA96.DAT) or TRUCKS.DAT file.
You will drive as the first car at the top of the roster in Driver Info. To move a driver to the top of the roster, select them and use the less-than key (<).
Some tracks do not allow 39 cars (the max) to start the race. The drivers who fail to qualify at those tracks are taken from the bottom of the roster in Driver Info. For example, if you don't want #99 Jeff Burton to get a DNQ, you should bump him up the roster a few spots. NOTE: Make these changes before your championship season starts. Once in Championship mode, the standings calculate using the order of cars in the Entry List.
