I am currently an Assistant Professor at the G. S. Sanyal School of Telecommunications, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Prior to joining IIT Kharagpur, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Vodafone Chair for Mobile Communications Systems, Technische Universität Dresden, under the supervision of Prof. Gerhard Fettweis and Dr. Emil Matus. My postdoctoral research focused on hardware-efficient MIMO detection algorithms for future 6G wireless systems.
I received my PhD from the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University, Australia. My doctoral resresearch under Dr. Yi Hong primarily focused on Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS) modulation for high-mobility wireless communications. Prior to this, I completed my Master of Science (M.S.) in Semiconductor Technology at National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, where my thesis involved the design of an all-digital wideband frequency-hopped OFDM system using RF-sampling data converters. I obtained my Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, India, where I also completed my schooling.
Outside of research, I enjoy swimming, spending time with dogs, and listening to rock music, especially U2. The name ACHTUNG LAB is partly inspired by U2’s Achtung Baby.
