ACHILLES is a PRIN2022 project funded by European Union – Next Generation EU, Italian University and Research Ministry is aimed at fostering the usage of innovative technologies and strategies to optimize and manage Last Mile Logistics and to support the transition towards smarter and greener cities. 

Simulation and optimization models and methods will be developed to deal with complex design, location, routing, synchronization and coordination problems. The exploitation of forecasted data and scenario-based analysis, robust and stochastic optimization and data science techniques will be also investigated.

The project is led by University of Naples Federico II (UniNa) in cooperation with  Institute of System Analysis and Computer Science `'Antonio Ruberti'' of the National Research Council (IASI-CNR), and University of Catania (UniCt). 

Duration: September 28, 2023 - September 27, 2025
