Adam enjoys studying system's thinking and how leaders can improve systems to help others. Adam has been using a model known as PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act - a concept by David Langford) to constantly improve the systems in which he works in. Adam acknowledges that improvement is the key to building a better society. He believes all students play a massive role within the future of society.
One of his favorite things about school is building relationships. If you ask any good teacher, they will say student growth and building relationships are the forefront of achieving any goal. Adam will always try to align his core values of love, fun, creativity, and determination to enhance the learning of others around him. When one knows their strengths and values, it is easier to capitalize on positive change.
When Adam is not conducting research, he serves on the board of Iowa World Language Association as the Assistant Conference Chair. He is an avid pickle ball player. He also bowls in his free time and does what he can to help other athletes improve. The outdoors are always his favorite!
