Action for Community Development (ACDEV) is a nongovernmental organization started in the year 2015 with the vision of empowering the rural communities through Agriculture, Health and Education in northern Ghana and beyond, starting from Navrongo in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

We have our first registration on July 18th 2016 as AETDF GHANA, which means: Agriculture Enterprise and Talent Development Foundation Ghana. The name was later changed to ACDEV by a board resolution in the year 2020 November. Our vision hasn’t changed.

ACDEV works in the Northern Part of Ghana. We are currently in Northern Region, Upper East, Upper West, North East and Eastern Region respectively. Helping in the promotion of Agriculture and Education in the communities and providing primary Health care to the people in the communities.

Everything we do is based on our firm commitment to promoting Agriculture and formal Education at the community level, as well as providing primary Health care service to the people in the community. We work in partnership with individuals, communities, government and non-governmental organizations to develop and run innovative programs that will transform lives across our core areas of work.
