A school library is a special place in your child's school. Here, your child can read, study, and borrow books. It's free for all students and has many things to help them learn.
Borrow books – Your child can take books home to read. They can also get digital books. They must return these books by a certain date.
Find information for homework and projects – The library has books, magazines, and online resources they can use for their schoolwork.
Learn to do research: Librarians teach students how to research. They can find books, research topics, and use online tools.
Use computers and the internet – School libraries have computers students can use for schoolwork. Most schools have a laptop for every student. Sometimes a student’s computer is broken or he needs a special program that is on the library computer.
Quiet study space – Students can read, do homework, or study in a quiet environment.
Join reading clubs 📖 – Libraries have special events for students who love to read.
School libraries are only for students. If you want to find books or use computers, you can visit your public library. Public libraries are open to everyone in your community.
