I went out and tested this yesterday on Luba 2X. With the fenders installed and obstacle sensitivity set to standard, the mower behaved roughly the same as high sensitivity without fenders installed. Without fenders, the standard setting works normally on flat lawns without taller grass, but there have also been cases where the mower avoids things like dandelions or even shadows. This indicates that the latest software update has made the sensitivity significantly too high, and many users have reported similar behavior even without fenders installed.
At the moment, it is therefore necessary to disable object detection if you have a hilly lawn, fenders installed, or taller vegetation in the grass. However, if your mapping has been done properly and No-Go zones are correctly configured, running without object detection should normally not cause any issues, as long as toys or other loose objects are not left on the lawn. The bumper will also handle situations where the mower accidentally drives into something such as a hedge or similar obstacle.
The fenders sit very close to the wheels when the suspension reaches its maximum travel, so everything should function normally again once Mammotion resolves the software issue. However, this is naturally not something that can be guaranteed until an updated software version has been released and properly tested.
I will update this notice once Mammotion has released an updated software.
