Our project is currently at the refinement stage. We have completed our deliverable and handed it off to the partner but it could be refined for greater usage. It is also at the outreach stage, where we will be sharing the resource with others who are interested and specifically seeking out those who would be organizing large outdoor events.

We did our Capstone Day, and presented our project to all students and guests from this C4 class and professors, along with our stakeholders.
The TRCA approved the project materials, including the video, guideline, and pamphlets, commending their clarity, practicality, and usefulness. Their feedback emphasized the guideline’s potential to enhance Bruce’s Mill’s future accessibility efforts, providing a clear and actionable approach to accommodating diverse needs and improving inclusivity within the park.
We hope that Diana (TRCA) approves our Accessibility Guideline and incorporates it into Bruce’s Mill’s event planning framework.
Meeting with Stakeholders and Community Partners to gain more insight and discuss potential collaborations with local organizations, schools, and accessibility advocates to ensure ongoing community involvement.
Final Report, highlighting an executive summary, key findings within our research, a roadmap with our recommendations and plans for the future, and feedback received from judges and audience from Capstone day.
By establishing clear guidelines, feedback mechanisms, and ongoing community involvement, the project is set for sustainable, and long-term success.
To consider the success of our project, if Bruce’s Mill implemented our guideline within their own activities and programs offered at their conservation park, this would be considered successful. Immediately after our project we aim to cooperate with TRCA and GHD, to have our project implemented into their current guidelines.
