Fun should be for everyone.
Our story:
Access4All is a student-led organization based in Lester B. Pearson High School aimed at creating inclusive spaces within Pineridge while raising awareness about accessibility issues within Calgary.
Access4All was born from the time we spent working with the special needs classes at our high school, where we saw firsthand the barriers the students face every day, making us realize how inaccessible not only our school, but also the surrounding community was.
This sparked in us a sense of passion and responsibility to create an inclusive space for Pineridge.

The playground at 144 Pinewind Rd NE is rusted and is inaccessible.
The swing structures and slide are in poor condition, limiting the opportunity for Pineridge children to have fun.

Gravel Alternatives, adaptable Swingsets, sensory panels, and ramps will enhance play and make the playground wheelchair-accessible for the community of Pineridge and students with special needs.
