Dr. S. Raghavan, senior Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology (N.I.T.), Trichy and has 33 years of teaching and Research experience. His interest includes Microwave Integrated Circuits, RF MEMS, BioMEMS, Metamaterial and Microwave Engineering. Proud research scholar of Prof.Bharathi Bhat and Prof.SK Koul, CARE, IIT Delhi, has established state of the art Microwave Integrated Circuit and Microwave Laboratory in N.I.T., Trichy with the help of Govt.Of India funding. Won Best Teacher award twice and conferred with Honorary Fellowship of Ancient Sciences and Archaeological Society of India.o his credit 75 research papers in International Journals, 65 in IEEExplore, 127 International conferences, 26 National conferences. Guided more than 8 Ph.D.scholars. Senior Member/Fellow in more than 20 international and national Professional Societies including IEEE, IEI, IETE, CSI, TSI. Organized various workshops of national importance. Has contributed a lot in the development of state of the art Library and Hospital in NIT Trichy. He made an impact in MICROWAVE ENGINEERING EDUCATION among student community at large.
Dr. Harigovindan V P, Associate Dean (Faculty Welfare) & Assistant Professor, Dept. of ECE, National Institute of Technology Puducherry has 15 years of teaching and Research experience. His interest includes Wireless Communication, Wireless Networks and Internet of Things. He has won several prestigious awards including IEEE Madras section certificate of recognition and medal for publishing in IEEE Journals during November 2019, Young Faculty award (Wireless Networks) , MHRD research fellowships . He has published several research papers in top notch journals and conferences.
Dr. Lakshmi Narasimhan Theagarajan obtained his MS and PhD from the Indian Institute of Science in 2015. In his doctoral research, he developed novel low-complexity probabilistic graphical model based inference algorithms that made massive MIMO signal processing methods practically realizable. In 2016-2017, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Sensor Fusion Lab at Syracuse University, where he developed novel online statistical learning algorithms for distributed detection and estimation problems. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad and a visiting assistant professor at McMaster University. He has also worked in Cisco Systems R&D and National Instruments R&D in the past. His areas of research include statistical learning and inference in large-scale wireless networks, distributed machine learning, sparse signal processing, design of optimal modulation and coding schemes, visible light communication, information and coding theory.
Dr.Thomas Joseph received B.Tech degree in electronics & communication engineering from T.K.M. college of engineering, M.Tech degree in optoelectronics & optical communication from IIT Delhi and PhD degree in electrical engineering from IIT Bombay in 2019. He has published more than 10 papers in national/international conference and journals. Right now he is working as a project research engineer in electrical department IIT Bombay. His research interests include high speed multimode optical fiber communication, few mode and multicore fiber design, mode division and space division multiplexing and component design for these applications.
Er. Robin Tommy, has been involved in as Researcher, Startup Mentor, Innovation Consultant and Emerging Tech Stack adviser for bringing out green, effective and intelligent solutions to the customers across the globe. He is Involved in as technology metamorphosis expert, rapid inventor, collaborative innovator and large scale business problem solver. He is known for the Social Impact innovative platform/product/solutions creating large scale impact for the society like VHAB. Winner of the most prestigious TATA Innovista and TCS Innovista awards. He has filed more than 45 patents and published 20+ research papers in IEEE, Springer and ACM. Developed the first humanoid from the TATA group. His current research is focused on AI (ML, Deep Learning and NLP), VR, AR, MR, IoT, Robotics, mobility, wearables, - Speech synthesis and processing research,Brain Computer Interaction researcher for behavioral sciences, Learning methodologies and process/product improvements, Image Processing, Computer Vision Research, Integrating quality into multidimensional analytics, Lean and MVP.
